He is generous to a fault, enabling his employees to become successful in their own right. Bruce Caruth: Angel Charity Member

Bruce Caruth currently owns the sub-franchise rights for EXIT Realty in Kansas, Missouri, Oregon and Washington.  EXIT Realty is a national real estate franchise business that operates throughout North America.

Aside from being a successful businessman, Bruce Caruth also finds the time to contribute to notable charitable institutions. Mr Caruth and his wife, Joanne, became members of Angel Charity for Children which provides financial assistance to charities in the community that assist children in need.  Angel Charity has raised tens of millions of dollars for numerous children’s charities and has greatly enhanced the life of thousands of children in Southern Arizona since its inception over 25 years ago.

Bruce Caruth and his wife Joanne applaud Angel Charity for its remarkable work in the community such as the recently established new Angel Wing for Children with Diabetes which offers specialized patient care for children who are suffering from diabetes.  It is the only place in Arizona for children with diabetes that integrates patient care, research and training. Bruce Caruth and Joanne have been involved with Angel Charity for over a decade and continue to support this worthwhile organization.

Through his own life trials, Shatan D. Greene chose to become a valuable and great educator. He currently presides as President and CEO of H.I.G.H.E.R. Tutorial Services, Inc. With his current position, Shatan wants to make a difference with the young lives that he is helping nurture. Mr Greene knows what a proper education can give a person, what doors it can open for someone, this is the knowledge he wants to share with other people. Having been fortunate to feel the joy of accomplishment and the joy of being able to hold one’s head proud while walking on stage during his graduation from Temple University, he wants to share this same joy with other people.

Shatan Greene – Living to become an Educator

Becoming a teacher or an educator of young minds is not an easy feat, and it’s even harder to learn the true value of education. It takes realization and experience to have a deep understanding of the importance of education. With that being said, only a select few are able to meet that understanding, and one of them is Shatan Greene.

A number of experiences led Shatan Greene to realize what education really meant and all it has to offer. Some of these experiences are nice and heartwarming while others are bitter and cold. One of these tragic experiences is the time when his brother was murdered while Shatan Greene was only 12 years old. This led him to realize the opportunities that education can offer. Mr Greene wanted to get out of the environment that took his brother away and having a proper education gave him that option.

Another important realization for Shatan Greene is the time that his parents opted to take care of their grandchildren as their own. This is when Shatan realized that family is not just a group of people and it’s not just a word. Family is following one’s heart and it doesn’t take a special amount of education to realize that.

Anthony Zeni: An Ecuadoran-Colombian in DC

Anthony Zeni is currently taking up a Double major for Politics and Dramatic Theater at a university in Washington, DC. Anthony is half Ecuadoran and half Colombian whose pet peeves include being anxious and staying cool in bad situations. People’s first impression of him would have to be that Zeni is a laid back individual who takes everything in stride. His ideal day starts off by him waking up and meeting his friends for some breakfast at a quiet diner. Anthony then tries to exercise regularly though jogging is not the type of activity that he considers doing. Anthony Zeni does enjoy hiking or cycling through a number of trails for several hours a day. Zeni also finds himself exploring these trails for several miles more before heading home. Anthony Zeni definitely likes doing things that allows him to exercise his mind and body which leads to him want to try new things.

During vacations, Anthony enjoys traveling to different destinations. Anthony Zeni has taken many trips particularly to South America. He has been visiting that place since he was 8 due to the fact that his extended family lives there. Zeni is also saving up for a trip to Europe and would love to see the Mediterranean. Though he enjoys the tropics very much, locally, he likes to hit the beach and check out the Washington DC monuments.

Leon Drogy Passion for Restaurant Work

With 3.01 restaurants per 1,000 residents, New York is one of the top U.S. states with the most restaurants per capita. On this basis, restaurant work is an attractive career option for Leon Drogy, a resident of New York.

Staying in the restaurant industry, however, is a different matter altogether.  For Leon Drogy, his passion for his job is the main motivation for having stayed in it for nearly two decades now. The current Vice President for Catering of Colonial Terrace kicked off his restaurant career as a Sales Manager for Classic Caterers after working as a corporate Meeting Planner for a couple of companies after his graduation from Dickinson College.

There are many things about Leon Drogy job that sustains his passion for it. Among these are the following:

• No other job gives him an adrenalin rush in accomplishing things in the context of the fast-paced, if often stressful, restaurant environment.
• Pushing his and his staff’s limits each and every day to provide consistent service to their customers and to make them happy is a great motivation for him.
• Mr Drogy is inspired by the opportunity it gives him to train others.
• It allows him to develop skills that are useful to him in dealing with issues in his everyday life.
