Memberships of Leon Drogy

Leon Drogy has been a member of several groups which can be categorized as non-profit organizations, professional associations and foundations. Presently, he is a part of a Gala Committee known as the “Support Connection” in Yorktown, New York since 2005. This organization provides emotional, social and educational support services to women, their families as well as friends who are affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The “Lakeland Education Foundation” in Shrub Oak, New York is another Gala Committee that Leon Drogy is a member of since 2005. This foundation provides quality education for students and seeks to present opportunities for them. Leon Drogy is currently still a member of both committees.

Leon Drogy is also associated with “Yorktown Foundation for Excellence” from 2005 till the present. This association provides support for special programs and projects that enriches the educational experience of the students in the Yorktown Central School District. The “Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce” is another association that Mr Drogy is affiliated with from 2007 till the present. The group provides quality service to its members by meeting individual needs on a member by member basis enhanced with innovative programs and services.

William Kubovy, Jr son as Director

William Kubovy, Jr son, currently the Director for Operations at Bartlett Power & Lighting Inc, is without a doubt a busy man. He heads a number of contractual projects across many parts of Chicago, Illinois. The biggest question for him right now is how does he handle all the pressure that comes? The answer is just simple – he is able to complete all his errands by taking enough time to lighten up, enjoy his surroundings, and be appreciative for all the simple joys in life. William Kubovy, Jr son, irrefutably thriving in all his actions, considers having found his way back to a spiritual relationship with God as his greatest success.

Bill’s life in his office starts with the usual checking and downloading of his emails then following up previously sent bids. After that task, he then reevaluates the upcoming bids and the ones that are due. Also, he checks on the status of pending projects of the company. In spite of his very hectic schedule, William Kubovy, Jr son finds inspiration with the people around him. He has a very good disposition in life.

He obtained his license as electric and lightning contractor back in 1999. He has handled many major projects like Heritage Woods Assisted Living, an 80-room complex for the elderly, which the company finished working on this year.

A New Routine for Matt Szarka

Two years ago, a typical day for Matt Szarka would begin at 7:30 am. He’d wake up, make coffee, shower, change and walk to his job as Marketing Director for IPS AdvisorPro and Mosaic. After a busy day  of work, he ‘s head home, shower, change, then wander out into the city where he’d meet up with friends at a bar. He also liked to go for walks in the park and visit museums.

All of that changed after March 2008 when certain prescription medication he was taking caused adverse side effects which left him disabled for almost a year. Matt Szarka had the misfortune of being in the .5% of the population who experience such side effects. That experience left a lasting impression on him and gave him a profound respect for acupuncture and Eastern medicine, to which he attributes his recovery.

Since then, Matt Szarka has moved to Hawaii where he’s preparing for graduate school, preparing for a new career as an acupuncturist. His routine has changed considerably since his days in San Francisco.  He still likes to go out, meet new people and have long conversations with friends away from loud bars. He still follows the local music scene but these days, he’s also taken up new hobbies like surfing as well as learning to cook his own meals ad garden.

Matt Szarka is taking this time to appreciate the simple things in life. As he explains: “The thing that inspires me the most is simplicity of living.  It is something I have to strive pretty diligently at, but the idea of growing my own food, being self sufficient, owning my own business, and finding ways to continually challenge myself in ways that benefits others.”

Martin Carrascosa’s Artistic Inclinations

After graduation, Martin Carrascosa worked for a Fortune 500 company. He eventually defied all odds and made a decision to pack up his things and move to Hollywood California. He had always wanted to pursue acting so when he got there, he immediately took acting classes. This then led to a couple of modeling gigs as well as roles for a couple of short and independent films. He made money by bartending at night and being a certified fitness trainer.

Martin Carrascosa big break came when he won the Zuma surfwear ad. He also landed a gig with the Night Gig brochure ad campaign. His luck kept rolling since he got to do a commercial for Toyota and was a part of several music videos. On top if all that, he became a part of a reality TV show.

Martin Carrascosa experience in being a part of Hollywood films and commercials made him decide to become a producer. He eventually came up with the DVD of “Balls Girlz”, a short film called “Jinxed, Bros” and two independent films entitled “Beowulf” and “Lonestar. Other notable achievements of Martin Carrascosa would include his role in “Austin Powers 3” and his life based character in the screenplay “Sunsets Edge”.

How Henry Thoreau Changed the Course of Seth Lesser Life

In 1904, Seth Lesser was inspired to follow the example of Henry David Thoreau, after reading “Walden: Or Life in the Woods” — fifty years after the novel was published. By isolating himself from the madding crowd for a while, he attempted to understand society and the world at large. Inspired by the idea of simple living, he strove for self-sufficiency by freeing himself from the mundane matters of his life.

Seth Lesser was born in December 2, 1885 into an upper middle class family of lawyers in Charleston, West Virginia. Since the end of the 18th century, his family had been among West Virginia’s social elite. It was expected that the young Lesser would follow in his father’s footsteps. Getting a pre-law degree from Princeton, a law degree from Harvard and marriage into the ton of Charleston were just some of the expectations his family and his friends had of him. At the end of his high school years, things changed when he joined a literary summer camp.

Seth Lesser was introduced to the views of the great writers in the world of literature. Henry David Thoreau, in particular, changed the course of his life. He became passionate about the idea of retreating into simple life. He wanted to understand the world and his part in shaping it. Like Thoreau before him, he secluded himself into the woods near his family home.

After a few months, Seth Lesser came home a changed man. Announcing that he would become a published writer instead of a lawyer like everyone else in his family, he shocked his entire family. Unlike Thoreau, he did not write a Walden. Nevertheless, he was enriched by his experience. Knowing that he could survive on his own sans the trappings of modernity turned him into a confident man who was set on his new course.

Beth Shak Plays to Win

Having had a taste of what it’s like to sit at the final table of the World Series of Poker in 2007, Beth Shak is hungrier than ever for her first gold bracelet. The lady who first learned how to play poker using “play money” on Full Tilt Poker shares some of her memories of going up against 11 time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth. ‘I kind of thought I was going to win an event. I didn’t, I came in second, but I left saying to my older kids, “If Mom does well, you guys all promise me you’ll fly out at the drop of a hat if I call you in the middle of the night,” Beth recalls.

“I went to that final table saying I was going to win it. I really did. I really thought I was going to win. And I’m not upset with second because it’s still quite an achievement. But, now it’s going to be hard to top, because now I have to win it, right?”

Beth Shak 2nd place finish at the 38th WSOP is her biggest cash in to date, contributing $328k to her total winnings which have now exceeded the $450,000 mark.

Beth Shak determination to succeed at anything she tries goes beyond poker. When she’s not at the tables, Beth Shak is an entrepreneur who’s always busy adding new items to her signature line of women’s clothing, accessories and lingerie. Recently, she’s also begun work on a reality show.

Marc Huehn, A Forgotten War Hero

A World War I hero, Marc Huehn was born on February 22, 1896. He was orphaned at the age of 10 and was introduced to a life of privilege in his uncle’s estate in Chenago, Texas. Huehn later left Texas and enlisted in the West Point Academy to pursue a career in the military.

Not wanting in bravado, Marc Huehn easily earned the respect of the other cadets and excelled in military drills. The case is different though when it came to academics. He found the Academy’s curriculum totally unnecessary, thus he did not bother to focus on his French and numbers. As a result, Huehn graduated in 1916, one year before the United States entered the First World War, at the bottom of his class.

Marc Huehn served in the 1st Infantry Division (the “Big Red One”) under the command of famous field commander, Robert Lee Bullard, an Alabama-born West Point graduate.  Along with 3500 plus troops, Huehn fought in the Battle of Cantigny which led to the capture of the village of Cantigny from the German Eighteenth Army. This was considered a milestone in America’s war effort because it led to the expansion of the American front and was considered the first American offensive of the World War I. For the next three days, 1, 133 American soldiers died due to continuous assault from the German camp. Marc Huehn was among the casualties who died during the second day of the battle.

Leon Drogy: Expertise in Strategic Planning

As a professional who has worked in several industries, Leon Drogy took it upon himself to develop his skills and further enhance it by taking up responsibilities and growing with companies that would improve his abilities and allow him to progress further in his career.

One of the most fundamental skills that Leon Drogy developed was his ability to do strategic planning. In doing so, he was able to direct and make decisions based on allocating the resources of the business in order to pursue a strategy that involves its capital and people. Leon Drogy is quite knowledgeable when it comes to a range of business analysis techniques that are utilized in strategic planning such as the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) amongst others.

During strategic planning, Leon Drogy considers the future course of an organization with key questions like: “what do we do?”, “for whom do we do it?” and “how do we excel?” or rather “how can we beat or avoid competition?”.

Mr Drogy is aware that strategic planning can be an effective tool in designing the direction of the company though it cannot predict exactly how the market will develop and what issues will surface. It is therefore ideal that the strategic innovation as well as the strategic plan has to be the keystone strategy for an organization in order for it to endure turbulent business climates.

The Exceptional Martin Carrascosa

Martin Carrascosa is a smart and intelligent student who did extremely well in high school. During that time, he also excelled in sports like football but more specifically in baseball and track where his team was nominated as the “first team all district”. In college, he took up Business in Steven F. Austin State University with minor in nutrition. Martin Carrascosa is also bilingual in Spanish and English. Having a passion for wildlife, he also wrote a review for a National Geographic Film.

Graduating and garnering a business degree, Martin Carrascosa used this to run his own business namely the DirtyBird Entertainment LLC which is a Hollywood production company. He was in charge of complex business plans for the company because of his expertise in small business administration and minority owned businesses. Being hard working and goal oriented, Mr Carrascosa already knew what he wanted and set his eyes in the field of arts.

Martin Carrascosa came up with a project that involved a number of associates. The concept was creating a show similar to “Jackass” except it would be its female counterpart called “Ball Girlz”. The DVD of the “Ball Girlz” was a smashing hit and appeared in film festivals. It was sold to an overseas network.
